Julie was born in Mirfield in Yorkshire and followed a career in agriculture attending Somerset college of Agriculture specialising in Dairying. Farm Managment followed and that lead to a role advising in the animal feed sector, the onset of milk quotas was a further turn for Julie as she was made redundant and that was the start on the entrepreneurial path, Julie was one of the first women in Yorkshire to be awarded a bursary from the Princes Trust which helped start West Riding milk testing service which became the U.K. ‘s largest independent food and pharmaceutical testing laboratory.

15 years later the business was sold, Julie continued with various food and pharmaceutical business investments and in her spare time is a keen country pursuits enthusiast.

Growing up in Scotland and being farming mad Euan Keenan went on to study agriculture at Aberdeen University. After Graduating Euan embarked on a career that featured both livestock farming and horticulture. Having spent a lot of time around Vets on the farm, a respect for their work and a love for animals was born.

An entrepreneur at heart, he went on to form business in both agriculture and pharmaceutical’s. This is where he began to look into the cross section between pharmaceutical’s and animal care; and the relationship between plants and animal health. A keen interest in animals and nutraceuticals led to the idea of My Vet Loyal coming into existence. A business that puts vets first always.

Passionate about animals and the countryside, he lives on a small holding in Devon with his family.

Rosie graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2007 and spent the early part of her career in mixed practice, before going on to become a Clinical Director for a group of small animal practices in Suffolk. Rosie obtained her post graduate certificate in small animal cardiology and combines her role as Veterinary Technical Director at My Vet Loyal with her work as a peripatetic cardiology clinician and general practitioner. Rosie is passionate about evidence based medicine and helping veterinary teams to provide comprehensive supportive care to their patients through My Vet Loyal.

Based in Suffolk, When not working with animals, Rosie is a keen Yogi and like outdoor sports such as paddle boarding.

Holly graduated from Glasgow University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. Having grown up on a dairy farm in Scotland she developed a passion for animals early on, this passion continues to thrive through her work as a vet in clinical practice and for My Vet Loyal.

Since graduating Holly has found her dream job as a mixed vet in an independent practice in Scotland. Every day she cares for animals of all sizes, from cats and dogs to horses and cows. Her guiding principle is to give the best quality of life possible to all of her patients. This has led Holly to join My Vet Loyal, which enables her to help animals beyond her own patients in the consulting room or on farm.

Karen’s passion for animals began in childhood, leading her to study animal management at an agricultural college in Kent. After graduation she lived and worked on-site, caring for animals and lecturing students, before pursuing a career in veterinary nursing, influenced by her farming grandfather and nurse mother.
Now based in Norfolk with her cat, Karen progressed through various veterinary nursing roles including head nurse before more recently expanding into sales of veterinary food and pharmaceuticals. Her dedication to education and improving animal health has brought her back into sales to start a new role with My Vet Loyal as a sales representative.
Outside of work, she enjoys learning new hobbies such as snowboarding, skateboarding, kayaking and travelling.
